IN2FAB, Tokyo Nano Farm Alliance Expansion

North Ampton, United Kingdom, October 2, 2018,

Tokyo, Japan, June 4, 2018 Joint announcement

IN2FAB Technology has joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES'FDXcelerator ™ Partner Program for porting analog and mixed-signal designs. IN2FAB's circuit porting technology enables fast IP migration to FD-SOI technology.

N2FAB has announced the opening of a new North American office as its business expands. The center will be a base for business expansion in collaboration with the company's existing facilities in Europe. Located in the semiconductor region of New England, this new center will be dedicated to providing technology that solves the complex problems of migrating semiconductor IP between foundries and processes.

IN2FAB Technology announced today that it has joined the GLOBALFOUNDRIES ("GF") FDXcelerator ™ Partner Program to enable IP transfer from external processes to the 22nm FD-SOI platform. IN2FAB's migration tools and services allow fabless companies and IP vendors to adapt their existing products to meet the requirements of GF's 22FDX® technology and bring them to market in just a fraction of the time required for redesign. I will.

IN2FAB extends the OSIRIS design tool to create a flow that transfers schematics, test benches and layout data from the bulk silicon process to FD-SOI. The source circuit can come from other GF processes or from a design originally made by a third party foundry. The migration flow uses the components of the GF Process Design Kit (PDK) for both schematic and layout transformations to ensure that the resulting database contains fully foundry-compliant components and models.

Design migration allows you to tune existing IP databases built for other processes to meet the requirements of new manufacturers. Maintaining the topology and hierarchy of the original circuit allows engineers to focus on adjusting established data rather than starting from scratch. This saves both time and money and opens up new opportunities for IP vendors to bring their products to a wider market.

Timothy Regan, President of IN2FAB, said: “We are very honored to expand our existing partnership with GF and work together on the 22FDX platform. The GF FD-SOI process enables designers to take advantage of superior performance and power management capabilities. Design migration is IP Ideal for vendors and fabless companies to accelerate their transition to 22FDX. We are proud to contribute to the migration of our products to this superior technology. "

IN2FAB, Tokyo Nano Farm Alliance Expansion

North Ampton, United Kingdom, May 30, 2018,

Tokyo, Japan, June 4, 2018 Joint announcement

IN2FAB Technology (Northampton, UK, www.in2fab.com) provides IN2FAB analog and analog mixed design migration services to Tokyo Nanofarm (www.tokyoNF) in addition to supporting IN2FAB schematics and test bench migration software tools. Expanded partnership with .com). As a result, we will provide new services to customers who wish to move silicon IP to new processes and foundries in the Japanese region.

Over the years, Japan has a wealth of experience in semiconductor design and has built a vast array of assets such as silicon IP, design circuits and libraries. Many of these, especially IDMs (Integrated Device Manufacturers), are designed with old process technologies, and migrating them to new processes or external foundries can be achieved by leveraging IN2FAB's design migration system. It can be achieved in a very short time.
In addition to providing IN2FAB schematic migration tools, Tokyo Nanofarm will provide IN2FAB design services to customers who wish to migrate their IP and full-chip schematics and layouts to a new process. This enables the transition to new process technology in an extremely short time and at low cost with respect to the time required for redesign.

Timothy Regan, President of IN2FAB, said, "I am very pleased to be able to expand our relationship with Tokyo Nanofarm and support our Japanese customers. In addition to IN2FAB's many years of experience in the semiconductor industry, we are able to meet the needs of our customers. The experience and knowledge of Tokyo Nanofarm will enable more customers to accurately support the transition of the silicon IP manufacturing process. "
In addition, "Analog and mixed-signal IP vendors have many IP products for foundries, design services with contract foundries, but external IPs available to Japanese IDM companies are not sufficient. No. We believe this alliance will accelerate the entry of these global IP vendors into the Japanese market. "

Hidemi Yokokawa, President of Tokyo Nanofarm, said, "We are very honored to promote IN2FAB's unique technology in Japan. Most Japanese semiconductor manufacturers are self-developed IPs that can be reused by IN2FAB solutions. I think I have an IC. ”Furthermore,“ I believe that it will bring new business opportunities for external IP vendors to offer products to Japanese customers who have their own process design tools and rules. Design tools, We will further deepen the relationship between IP providers and design services and partners, and focus on providing design solutions to Japanese customers. "

New development center enhances support for FinFET and advanced silicon technology

North Ampton, United Kingdom, March 15, 2018

IN2FAB Technology has announced the opening of a new facility in the UK to accelerate the development of design transition tools between advanced processes, including FinFET technology. The center supports IN2FAB's existing migration software that transforms schematics, test benches and layout data for moving circuits between foundries and processes.

Advanced processes have dramatically increased design complexity for designers and design tools. IN2FAB's PDK-based transition technology makes it possible to easily use already designed circuits with newly foundry-generated components throughout the circuit and maintain full compatibility with the structure of the original design.

“Advanced circuit technology puts even greater pressure on SoC producers and IP companies. Design cycles in advanced processes are increasing and existing circuits can be transformed into new foundries or processes. It's fascinating. Our new technology center accelerates the development of state-of-the-art migration tools and brings full FinFET migration capabilities to the market, "said IN2FAB Chairman Timothy Regan.

The facility will be the new home of IN2FAB's Design Transition Center for IP Design Services as a service hub for customers around the world. The new and advanced IN2FAB design tools further enhance and enhance the activities at this center, enabling extended design processing. “The amount of FinFET IP is growing rapidly and companies need to offer the widest possible range of processes and foundry products,” Regan added. “Design migration enables us to take advantage of new licensing opportunities without spending time and money.”
